Sky and Land

Sky and Land is the story of two complementary worlds.

A story of love and distance in the same universe, their house.

On 2012 Sara started showing the first senile dementia symptoms, commonly called Alzheimer.

A disease we don't know enough yet about and that pushed everyone away from her: me, my family and Francesco, her husband and complementary part, my grandpa.

The Alzheimer is one of that kind of diseases from which you give up to it.

You do try to fight and understand, till you get that inevitable and unbridgeable distance, from everything and everyone.

Years passes and Sara mental and health conditions gets worst.

The husband's pain facing with his whole helplessness, is stronger day by day.

The everyone's life changed, especially my granpa's, now more than before fighting in the front line, without ever ceasing to love.

A life spent together until the end.
